It’s a joyous event when two people opt to be together. This is particularly true if they wish to celebrate with loved ones. A lot of planning is involved in significant occasions such as weddings and cohabitation. Maybe you both already have careers and even a family. Aside from the daily grind, securing a banquet hall or other venue, arranging catering, a DJ, and other details consumes significant time. 

It becomes quite a challenge to find the peace and quiet needed to write a speech or put together the ceremony.

How can I assist you?

I write a heartfelt speech, which I then deliver during the ceremony. I can assist each partner with writing their vows. 

Maybe you require assistance with creating the ceremony’s script. Perhaps you’re looking for text ideas for your friends or family? You decide how I can be of service.

Where can I assist you?

To minimise your travel time and any additional costs, I prefer to work within a 20 km radius of my office in the Westerlo area. If the service for your loved one is outside this radius, please be aware that additional costs may apply.

I am not affiliated with any religion, but I only feel at ease in settings that are familiar to me. This means a service in a Catholic church or a farewell ceremony in a crematorium within a non-religious or Christian context.

Writing and delivering a speech: Heart and Word

Step 1: Our first step is to set up an introductory meeting, which will last no more than 2 hours. We can hold this meeting at your home, or you can opt for an online meeting through WhatsApp or Telegram. During this meeting, I’ll ask questions to learn more about you. I’ll be all ears and make sure to record key details. 

Talking with some of your family and friends is something I’d like to do as well. Four hours of conversation, conducted either face-to-face or online, are included in the fee. Kindly note that meetings held in person will incur an additional travel fee. An additional charge applies for consultations that go over 4 hours.

Step 2: Next, I will carefully craft the speech with genuine feeling. The language used is simple and clear, making it relatable to a broad audience, without being overly impressive.

Step 3: Next, we will review the text together to make any required edits. Do you want the speech to be a complete surprise? Then I’d be happy to talk about the text with no more than two family members and/or friends. We can do this online, and I will allocate two hours for it.

Step 4: My reading of the speech at the ceremony’s solemn peak will enable you to focus entirely on one another. I’ll leave you to celebrate with loved ones after the ceremony.

• Creating a script maken: If you’d like, I can assist with the ceremony’s structure and content. Texts, poems, and music are all subjects we can discuss. Would you like to light a candle to symbolize your love, or give flowers to your parents?
• Creating a booklet: I can assemble a booklet. I’ll let you handle the printing.

Prices

You can find the prices for the services below. These prices are valid from July 1, 2026, and include 20% VAT. You can find more information about the services offered in the “My step-by-step approach” section above.

1. Writing and delivering a speech - Heart and Word:  €1149.50
2. Writing a vow addressed to your partner: €60.50 per hour (minimum 2 hours)
3. Creating a script: €60.50 per hour ((minimum 2 hours)
4. Creating a booklet: €60.50 per hour ((minimum 2 hours)
5. Travel allowance: €0.5383 per kilometre (valid from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026) within a radius of 20 km of Westerlo.
6. For travel beyond 20 km from Westerlo, there’s an extra charge of €27.50 for every 30 minutes of driving time, on top of the per-kilometre fee.
7. Parking fee: The ‘Heart and Word’ complete service includes €20 for parking. Any parking costs exceeding this amount will incur a charge.
